Cedarfield is a mature wooded neighborhood with nicely landscaped entrances and common areas.  At the main entrance of the neighborhood (McCoy road entrance) there is a large open common area that is used for soccer practice and other activities.  Adjacent to this common area is a spring fed pond that is stocked with fish. 

There is also a walking trail in the neighborhood which is part of a larger system of walking trails in the area.  Cedarfield also has a Swim Club and adjacent childrens playground that are available to all residents.
